Our Work

Our approach is based on the ecological systems theory developed by Urie Bronfenbrenner wherein the center of our program is the child. We train children to  be ambassadors and to become peace heroes by also capacitating the different sectors around them like parents or guardians, teachers, youth leaders, various leaders from their schools and their communities. While we are molding that child to become a peace hero, we are also creating a peaceable environment for   him or her to thrive, to be safe,  to be peaceful and mindful.
PEACE EDUCATION FOR ALL
Teach Peace Build Peace Movement (TPBPM) has a high regard in teaching Peace Education as a means of achieving sustainable peace where everyone is practicing a Culture of Peace. TPBPM employs the holistic and multi- dimensional approach in the application of Peace Education in the schools and communities by localizing, contextualizing and ensuing the regional program appropriateness.

NURTURING A CULTURE OF PEACE IN THE HEART OF EVERY CHILD
One of the guiding principles of TPBPM is derived from the belief that every child has an innate quality of tolerance and unbiasedness and that prejudice is subsequently learned later in life. The movement strongly believes that if we want a peaceful nation, we must invest in nurturing a Culture of Peace in the heart of every child.

BUILDING A CITIZENRY OF PEACE HEROES
The movement is a growing family composed of expanding network of active, empowered young generations of different faiths, cultures and ethno-linguistic groups who are working together as prime movers in building a Culture of Peace. TPBPM recognizes the impor-tance of having a strong support system, as we practice a Culture of Genuine Care for one another’s peacebuilding journey in an individual and organizational level. Building a Citizenry of Peace Heroes is a collective approach built on trust, sense of family relationship, dialogue and alliance.
