Why volunteer? Because we all share a part in making this world more liveable for the next generations to come. One person, one family, one community at a time. On a more personal note, I volunteer because I feel it is part of being human to do so. Somehow I think we are all designed to help one another. It’s been an experience that constantly teaches me something valuable about people, about compassion, unity, and about myself. I volunteered to give, but eventually realized I gained:)

Being a part of the TPBPM family is probably one of the best things that has ever happened to me. It was because of Teach Peace that I was able to learn so much about myself, the people around me, society as a whole, and the true concept of peace. Never did I regret staying up 'til 3 in the morning, doing all-nighters, (hahaha) just to design collaterals, prepare TPBPM materials, pack goods, give talks to students, go to far conflict-affected areas, and teach others about living peace as a way of life.
