AG Sano

A.G. Saño is a renowned and multi-awarded Filipino artist with a distinguished career spanning over two decades, during which he has painted more than 1000 murals in 16 countries that depict themes of peace and environmental conservation. With a degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of the Philippines Diliman and a strong foundation from Quezon City Science High School, he has successfully combined his artistic talents with environmental advocacy.

He is a dedicated conservationist with extensive experience in marine research since 2000, and he is a founding member of Balyena.org, a non-profit group committed to marine mammal research and conservation in the Philippines. A.G. has worked with reputable NGOs and institutions, such as WWF, Greenpeace, OXFAM, and Conservation International, on various environmental initiatives.

A.G. has demonstrated exceptional management skills in leading programs focused on art and environmental awareness. He founded the Dolphins Love Freedom movement, uniting advocates from over 64 countries to combat threats to dolphins and whales. As a founding board member of Teach Peace Build Peace Movement (TPBPM), he has played a pivotal role in using arts to promote peace education. His leadership in mobilizing over 4,000 volunteers to create the longest peace mural in the world at Camp Aguinaldo exemplifies his program management capabilities.
